Fish`s Wild in Davis

If you wanna go somewhere with food that's always fresh & hot, this is the spot. My Mom, daughters & I love coming here whenever we visit Davis. The wraps are light yet filling and of course delicious.

Decent price for good amount of food. However, I wasn't woa-ed by any dish I tried here. Chicken Katsu, Grilled Mahi Mahi, Grilled Salmon, and steam Shrimp bucket, nothing was impressive in terms of flavor at all.

Food was too dry, bit Didn't like the barbecue sauce that they serve with it. Restroom not in a very clean condition

Great fresh grilled short ribs.

Got the special of fish and chips. It was nothing amazing. The fish was more a big fried fish stick. I would have definitely gotten something different if I knew what it was going to be. It is very reasonable though, so there is that. They have many other options so maybe the other food is better.

Fish's Wild Island Grill was a good place for lunch in downtown Davis. I had Cajun salmon and my friend had garlic butter talapia. Both were good, and were served with rice and vegetables. The prices were ok, about $11 & $9, respectively. I would come again for lunch. The facility was clean, and the wait wasn't long.

Went with my son and got the chicken Katsu and Tonkotsu Ramen (black). The chicken Katsu dish was huge, defin5ately very filling if rather bland but thats why it comes with a sweet bbq sauce. The Tonkotsu Ramen soup was big and very tasty. Definately worth the money. Otherwise the place is always pretty bussy and yet they manage to keep it very clean. Portions are big for the $10 per plate you end up paying for.

The daily specials are one of the best deals I’ve seen. Perfect for hungry budget-minded students. Excellent quality and large portions!

This is a simple restaurant that serves wholesome food. You make your order at the cashier and they bring it to your table. We had grilled salmon and shrimps. The grilled salmon was excellent and done medium not dry (you can request medium). However, the shrimp was rubbery. They serve the dishes with steamed vegetables and rice (choice of brown or white). Prices are reasonable and portions large.

Chicken katsu and short ribs are always super good

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Ordered the Chicken Taco Combo. Was a good price and the size of food that came out was very good. The chicken had a good seasoning, and mixed with the lettuce, carrot, tomato and cream in a grilled soft taco, created a great harmony of flavor. Would recommend this place to those who are budget-conscious and who enjoy tacos or grilled fish.

Best salmon burger I've had! Just grilled salmon on a bun with some sauce, lettuce, and a tomato.

The food here is great i had the chicken plate with steamed veggies and brown rice. I can't wait to go back and try a different meal.🍴

Monday fish and chips special is great!

Staff was very helpful. We ordered, Salmon, Kalbi, chicken katsu and a shrimp plate. All 4 plates packed to go and well done.

Their shrimp burritos are to die for and the staff is really nice. Lost a star because I placed an order over an hour in advance, arrived on time, and still had to wait 15 minutes for the order to be completed so I was late for work. Oh well :)

High quality, affordable seafood, in a conveniently located place! I had the steamed clams with a side of vegetables, and it was the best lunch I've had since I moved here. This is my new go-to spot!

Extremely disappointing. Fish did not appear to be fresh. The coating was dry and hard. Had very little flavor. Fast food fish filet sandwiches have better quality than we received at this establishment.

We like a lot to go out. Last night we arrived in this delicious place which friends recommended to us. We spent a lovely time there with exceptional meal and a well-trained stuff and a talented chef. We added this place in our phone list and we will definitely go again soon. We deeply recommend.

Great poke bowls with almost everything included like brown rice, slice of tamago, crab, edamane, etc. Avocado was the only thing they charged extra for. Fish was decent and right now they had "buy one, get one half off", which is a great deal. Two of us are for less than $18. Totally recommend.

Pretty good place to grab a lunch.

They didn't have fried clam strips when I got there, very disappointing. The tacos I ordered instead were like 30% carrot, strange choice for a taco

The food here is the best! Seafood in Davis is very mediocre but I think this is the best the city has to offer. Cajun style is by far my favorite for any kind of fish. It's a little pricey but week worth it.

Worst Ramen in Davis. Do not eat here. Food was burnt and I was not able to finish it. Multiple unfinished bowls in the bussing rack...

This is the place my significant other and I go too if we’re unable to decide on something to eat. She doesn’t like eating fish however she loves their white fish with Cajun! The food is great at a reasonable price and you get all the nutrients you’ll need for the day from just one meal!! :)

Great dishes here. I enjoy their grilled fish dishes here and their fries are pretty good too. Very convenient and good place to have lunch when short on time.

Today I had a worse experience. We ordered 35$ worth food. My wife who eat salmon was done with the food with 1 whole piece of salmon left in her plate. She said salmon have a bad , funky smell in it. To my surprise I took a bite it smelled like a rotten salmon. Omfg .. seriously. NO quality control . I wonder how environmental health division guys from county approve them.This is not my first time eating salmon , this is the only fish I like & eat in our home.Last but not least , my wife she is dumb , she don't raise questions on food . She thinks it's bad to say food is bad.that's why she ate whole piece of rotten fish and spend rest of her night in Emergency room.

While I haven't had much of the menu I can say that their chicken and salmon rice bowls are on point. My husband likes the salmon tacos. Fries are oddly addictive. Super fast service, too.

Was picking up for Doordash. Place was very clean and a nice place. Staff is very nice. Smelled very very good.

Really good food for the inexpensive cost. Came here before attending an event at the Mondavi Center and I was impressed. I had the salmon bowl which consisted of a salmon fillet, steamed veggies, and (I chose) brown rice. They have condiments for their dishes as well so I grabbed a couple lemon slices to add to the dish. Lots of seating. When I went there weren't a lot of people there though I went at a time when a lot of restaurants would be slow. I imagine this place fills up for lunch and maybe dinner as well.

The service is relatively quick and the menu is very accessible, clear, and quite extensive. The food itself is about as good as it gets and in my two trips there I was not disappointed. All in all a good place to drop by for lunch.
